Virtual Orchestra Project

THE FUTURE OF YOUR ORCHESTRA

We are a community orchestra that has responded to the restrictions imposed by COVID-19 by developing a virtual music performance presence. The Virtual Orchestra Project builds on all NBSO has offered before, but is especially important as we move ahead, grow, and involve our young people.

THE VIRTUAL ORCHESTRA PROJECT CAN BE BROKEN DOWN INTO THESE FOUR PARTS:

• Equipment (Virtual Musician’s Kits, software licences, etc.)  

• Talent (Musician development, supplementary players, etc.)  

• Performances (Creating, editing & distributing performances)  

• Education (Virtual lessons, mentoring young musicians, engaging with classrooms)
