Virtual Orchestra Project

KEEPING YOUR ORCHESTRA IN TUNE

We need your help.

Until the pandemic has passed, the North Bay Symphony cannot hold in-person performances. Nor can we rehearse together. With innovative thinking, technology, and a new platform, we are bringing our musicians back together. Groups can practice together in real time, while staying safely in their own homes. The symphony has purchased audio interface kits which has allowed local symphony musicians and young string players to participate and continue to build their skills.

Each kit includes:

• Audio Interface

• Cables

• Condenser Microphone

• Microphone Stand

• Headphones

• Ethernet Cable

We will:

• Hold practices for the Youth Orchestra (20+ students)

• Enable North Bay Symphony members to mentor young and upcoming musicians

• Rehearse brass, woodwind, string, percussion players in small ensembles

• Record quality audio to share with our community

• Re-establish the sense of community that music making provides our musicians

• Prepare for virtual concerts and future in-person concerts

• Use the equipment far beyond the end of the pandemic

Please support us by becoming a sponsor or donor of a Virtual Musician Kit.

Sponsorship - For $500, you can sponsor a Virtual Orchestra Project, or $250 for a partial sponsorship.

Donation - Any amount is appreciated

Sponsors will be recognized in the following ways:

• On each kit

• On our website

• On our social media

• On promotional material for virtual and future live musical events.

You can be part of this project and help us fulfil our North Bay Symphony mission

statement: “To entertain, enrich and educate community through the performance of

music.”
